Entrant Terms and Conditions
READ CAREFULLY! FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN
ENTRY TO THE EVENT BEING REFUSED OR REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT!
1. Vehicle
(a)The vehicle displayed on the day MUST be the same vehicle listed on the application – attempts to switch cars without the knowledge of All Euro Day committee will result in refusal of entry and forfeiture of entry fee. We DO check, and we WILL know.
(b)Vehicles driven on trade plates must have their plates displayed whenever the vehicle is moving, including on the event grounds.
(c) Tow vehicles are only permitted on the event grounds for unloading and loading purposes, and must be removed for the duration of the event. Failure to do so will result in the vehicle being reported to Holdfast City Council. Their parking inspectors are standing by 24/7.
(d) Vehicles must be free of sharp or dangerous items that may injure spectators.
(e) If entrants suspect that their vehicle may cause damage to the event grounds (through low suspension or body panels, dropped oil or hot exhausts etc), they must take steps to prevent damage occurring, or they will be held liable for the repair costs of damage caused, as well as the $400 event bond if it is forfeited.
2. Display and signage
(a) Placement of vehicles on the event grounds is entirely at the organiser’s discretion, and all directions given by the All Euro Day committee and its delegates must be followed by entrants.
(b) Fencing or any other material or object used to physically separate spectators from vehicles is prohibited.
(c) Vehicles must have their entrant number and information sheet displayed on the passenger side of their front windscreen or dashboard at all times.
(d) Extra written information on vehicles, regarding their history or modifications made, may only be displayed INSIDE the vehicle.
(e) Stickers applied to vehicles, promoting businesses or other entities, are permitted.
(f) Flyers promoting businesses or other entities are permitted, but only with the express prior permission of the All Euro Day committee, and must only be placed under windscreen wipers of the vehicle entered ,so that spectators can take one if they choose to do so.
(g) With the exception of 2(d), 2(e) and 2(f), all forms of promotion or advertising are STRICTLY. Failure to adhere to these regulations will result in instant removal from the event.
3. Entrant/driver behaviour
(a) Wigley Reserve is a dry zone, and consumption of alcohol is not permitted at any time.
(b) Entrants/drivers must travel no faster than walking pace whilst on the event grounds.
(c) Once vehicles are in place and on display, entrants/drivers may not start or move their vehicles nor use in-car audio equipment without the express permission of All Euro Day staff
(d) Any entrant/driver behaviour that endangers the life or safety of any person on the event grounds will result in instant removal from the event, and, where necessary, SA Police will be notified and further action will be taken.
(e) If any damage to the event grounds or damage or breakage of any other property is caused, entrants/drivers responsible will be liable for all resulting repair or replacement costs.
(f) The All Euro Day committee is not liable for any damage or loss caused to entrant vehicles during the event. Entrants display their vehicles at their own risk.
(g) SA Police are notified of the event, and are usually present throughout the day.
(h) Illegal or poor driving behaviour, INCLUDING driving to and from the event itself, WILL be reported to SA Police by organisers, and the entrant will be banned from attending future events. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Event timing
(a) Gates for entrants and their vehicles to enter the event grounds will open at 7:00am and will be closed at 10:00am.
(b) Failure to arrive by 10:00am may result in refusal of entry and forfeiture of entry fee.
(c) In the interests of spectator and vehicle safety, entered vehicles MUST stay on display until at least 3:00pm. Do NOT ask to leave early.
(d) At 3:00pm, entrants may commence leaving the event. If you are concerned about their vehicle or spectator safety when leaving, please approach an All Euro Day staff member to escort you.
(e) Entrants must clean the area around their vehicles before they leave the event grounds.
(f) The event grounds must be completely vacated by 5:00pm.
